A BUILDER’S PERSPECTIVE

Built from inside
the business.

For 25 years, I’ve worked in home improvement, building and running a premium window covering company. From a one-man show to a multi-state operation, I’ve run it at every level and learned the business deeply, from every side.

For years, I worked around the holes in generic software that wasn’t built for our industry. So I began building tools for my own company, improving operations across the business. That work became a passion: creating software around how our industry actually works.

FortBuilt is built for our industry from the start—not generic software adapted to it. I’m bringing the tools I’ve always wished we had to the people who need them.

WHERE THE NAME BEGAN

Before there was
software,
there were forts.

Growing up in Las Vegas, I would cross the street from my house and head into the desert to build forts.

They were more than places to play. They were worlds I could create—a place where I could be anything I wanted. An escape, and a way to reach for something bigger.
